I didn't know where to put this as it sort of carries on from the old thread on the other board - so I started a new thread. I just saw this - any comments? ;D
Ray's new Rob job
Remember Ray Quinn, the swing-loving X Factor runner-up? Well, it seems as if he could finally fulfil his dream of being the next Robbie Williams - quite literally.
The pint-sized Scouser is being lined up to play the wayward pop star in the next West End smash Take That: The Musical. "What an amazing honour to be asked to play someone who has had so much influence on me over the past few years," said Ray on the offer.
"Robbie's album Swing When You're Winning was great and further convinced me that it was that type of music I loved," he gushed. The musical will begin rehearsals towards the end of the year, after Ray finishes his new album in Las Vegas.
Assuming he sells any copies, of course!

After seeing them live last year at Wembley, I have to say that I adore Take That and I don't care who knows it...but I can't really get my head around 'Take That: The Musical'! But hey, if they can have a musical based around Boney M's songs then anything is possible!

"Tonight's the Night" The Rod Stewart Musical didn't last in the West End terribly long. He had a much bigger and more recognisable body of work as far as his songs were concerned. More to the point, he is very well known in the States, so that would encourage the American tourists to go and see it. Take That - The Musical.......I'll give it 2 weeks......Max!!

I actually copied that from AOL News so who knows! I've got a little girl already asking me to book her a ticket - so I guess I'll just have to go and check it out if it ever happens. So come on ladies who will play Gary Barlow et al? WAIT! how about a phone-in TV show to select the stars - just like Maria in SOM and the new Joseph! *sticks head into the microwave and turns on full power*

X Factor stars the MacDonald Brothers said they would stay loyal to their Scottish fans as they announced a new album deal.
Craig, 21, and Brian MacDonald, 20, have teamed up with former Bay City Roller Stuart Wood and signed a two-album contract with independent label The Music Kitchen .
