Hey there guys,
Not sure if any of you know, but I run a fansite following Queen's famous guitarist Brian May. A month ago we were forced to abandon our forum and set up elsewhere; however we are having a few difficulties spreading the word about our change of home. Our previous forum was starting to become a nice close knit community and it's horrible that we had to lose that over phpBB being so damn unreliable
Anyway, I have a few requests of you all if that's ok. I know that some of you may be Queen fans due to Tony being in WWRY so I figured that this would be a good place to set up my latest cry for help haha!
BrianMayZone was set up on 5th February 2006 and has been growing successfully for nearly a year now. Our aim is to create a community of Brian, Queen and music fans and spread the word about classic rock and it's similar genres. Our new forum can be found here, and we would really appreciate it if some of you could spread the word, join yourselves or whatever. Some of you that use Myspace may have already seen one of my messages on Tony's page; although the links went wrong and are no good to anyone (dammit...I'm not usually bad at that kind of thing but I was tired)!
So please...if you are a Queen fan, guitarist, general musician, or just love proper discussion of all types of music; come on down to BrianMayZone. We really want to boost our members up to what they used to be
My other request (not so big, don't worry) is for wallpapers. We make a monthly feature of wallpapers, quotes, websites and news pieces and I am currently looking for people to submit their own wallpapers to feature on the page. All we ask is that they are Brian / Queen related. If you have pictures of Brian performing at WWRY on one of the occasions that he visits and fancy making them into a wallpaper it'd be fantastic!
Sorry for such a huge post Just you guys seem a friendly bunch and I really need to sort out the mess phpBB has gotten myself and my website users/forum members into by dying on us.
Thanks very much
