So, I'm going to be in London on the 22nd & 23rd, and am seeing RENT:REMIXED Friday night. I'd like to see one or two more shows while I'm there (NOT Joseph)....
Recommendations?
Also, does anyone know where I could get a ticket to Macbeth? Ticketmaster doesn't have any.
Thanks.

I'd recommend going into the theatre. The ticket booths are good but you probably have a better chance at the box office. Personally I have to recommend Hairspray. I saw it last night and i'm still buzzing from it. It gives such an unbelievable high and the whole cast is amazing (and incredibly lovely).
Hope you enjoy RENT and whatever else you end up going to see.

Me too. I want to try and see that and Spamalot at least, when I'm in London in a couple of weeks.

Sorry I cam to this a bit late (writes hate mail to AOL) I must admit to an urge to see Wicked again too. What did you see in the end Wanderlust? How was Rent?

In 2 days, I saw three shows:
MacBeth with Patrick Stewart (had to go to the theatre at 9:30a and get tix for that night right as they opened). It was AMAZING, if you like Shakespeare. A
I saw Desperately Seeking Susan, because I needed some mindless dancing in funny costumes with belting pop music...and I love Blondie. B+
And I saw Rent:Remixed...which was a bit disappointing...especially their HORRID Mimi. She can't act or dance, and can barely sing. I didn't like how they remixed some of the songs, but other "new" interpretations were cool. I wish I had seen it with Mimi's understudy...then it would have earned a solid B.

I love Shakespeare so I might try to get into that. I want to see Wicked and Spamalot as well but am open to other options when I get there. Thanks for the recommendations. Kathy

I love Shakespeare too. I saw Patrick Stewart in the Tempest last year and he was fantastic so I can see how he plays a good MacBeth.
I think it closes this weekend Kathy.
