hey hey! i've bought a shih tzu pup for my mum for christmas. (shhhhhhh - she's a surprise) . to help my mum out with the naming process, i'm trying to think up a few for her to choose from. something cute and girly and perhaps with a christmas theme. top of the list is currently 'holly'...others include, star, angel, cracker, honey, snowball, .... a name is for LIFE, not just for christmas, so....can anyone contribute some nice one's to the list? and, here she is ...... (the one on the left) :-) ..... ing x

Awww! So cute!! I definitely like Holly and Snowball. I also always liked the name MiG gave to his doggie - Powder - as in powder puff LOL! You could have Pannetoni (excuse spelling) and call her 'Toni'

She's beautiful. I'm not really that good at coming up with names for pets but I thought i'd put in a couple options.
Neve (it's Italian for snow) Natale (na-tah-ley)
Also would just like to say Angel means kind and lovable.

The first thing that came into my head (apart from "awwwwwwwwwwww") was Ming! lol Not only does it represent her Chinese heritage, but also it's not a million miles away from the name of the lovely daughter who bought it...although then I thought how awful would it be if people called her "Ming_ing"!!! Second thought was "Chrissy"...short for Christmas or Chrysantamum...because her head looks like one! pmsl! So yeah, perhaps I should keep my thoughts to myself?? Whatever your mum decides to name her, she's BEE-YOOO-TI-FUL!

when trying to decide between the two name short list of 'truffles' and' fudge', out of nowhere came the name 'chica' - pronounced 'chee-kah' - spanish origin meaning 'girl' and it seems to be the one! ...'chica bonita' being her full Kennel Club name - meaning 'beautiful girl' :-). mum, of course..adores her, and she was a TOTAL surprise in a box yesterday! ing x
