Rhydian was amazing! Although he did scare Molly hehehe! I think we will end up seeing him in the west end.

I don't normally watch the X-factor but when you guys said Rhydian sang Phantom I went and searched it on youtube. I won't deny he is a good singer but he would make an awful Phantom, listening to him sing that song made we want to shoot him (may sound a little extreme but my love for POTO cannot be expressed in words). Tee hee! You can't deny he was a 'scarey' Phantom though Who's your fave Phantom btw?

My favourite Phantom would have to be Earl Carpenter. He's recently finished a 3 year stint in the role. He is beyond compare.

Yes I liked Earl Carpenter too. I also saw John Owen Jones and thought he had a better voice but was not as suited to the role (if that makes sense). Earl Carpenter used to bring tears to my eyes at the end of the show - loved it!

So Futureproof went and Hope stayed, it was of course nothing to do with the kisses, gyrations and double (now boring) splits!
How weird was Rhydian? Very Liberace and slightly Frank'n'Furter I thought ;D
For the first week I definitely didn't warm to Nikki - what was that all about???

I thought young Rhyd was excellent this week! *Congratulates self on choice in a 'Cowell' sort of way*
So - who's to win and who's to go?

Sorry I've completed deserted these boards in recent weeks! Hope to go, Hope to go! And of course Same Difference (the guy is just too annoying, as are the thumbs up).
Hmm who to win. I think the Rhyddler, my opinion of Niki and Bev changes weekly, I'm not sure they have what it takes. Who else? Hmm Leon, he'll get some of the girlie votes but I just keep hearing his shoddy version of the Beatles right at the start!

Was completely shocked that Beverly lost out to Hope this week . Loved Rhyd's West Side Story bit . . . . .

I missed the show Saturday, caught most of the repeat Sunday and missed Hope, so didn't know how bad they were -I presume they were really bad, as always. Loved Rhydian though!

I think the lead singer in Hope (Phoebe) is actually very good and gave a great, emotional performance on Saturday....she doesn't need the other girls and should have been put through as a soloist! I doubt they'll be in the contest for much longer.
If anybody other than the Rhyddler wins it will be a complete travesty and I may never watch X-Factor again!! He's the only one left with any real entertainment value IMO and the only performer I would pay to go and see. I'm glad they are letting us see the more vulnerable, humble side of him now, instead of the arrogant twit they portrayed him as in the beginning! Rhyddler all the way! ;D

*resists the urge to say 'I told you all so'* ;D
I too think that Phoebe should've gone through on her own, I guess they thought she was too like the girl who left because of the video phone thingy (sorry can't remember her name). Did anyone else spot the 'older' pics of young Rhyd with his red hair? GO RHYDIAN!
