I thought it was time for the annual X-Factor thread, especially now that the final few have been chosen. I was pleased with the lot that Louis sent home, unsure about Danii's choices, liked Sharon's but what the bloomin' 'eck was Simon thinking about? Apart from the girl who does the splits of course! Don't like the 'put together' bands and think it's unfair to all the bands who entered after months\years of practise. Well what do you think? *waits for Kirst to come along*

I didn't see all of it last night as I had to come back down to 'Boro but I did see something about who went through today. I agree with you about Louis' choices. I wish Simon had put through the band who's name I don't know (the misfit one), they totally remind me of my friends and they sounded pretty good.

It's not often I disagree with Simon, but I think he must be going senile...what was he doing putting that poor-man's cabaret act through?! I like happy people, but that brother and sister pair make me want to break things!! They're just toooooo smiley! As for Danni, what the hell was she thinking putting that pompous 'I want to be knighted and meet the Queen' twit through?? Did anybody else feel the need to stuff their ears with cotton wool when he sang 'Somebody To Love' or was it just me?
I have a few favourites but I don't know all the names yet. Love the guy with the young son and the young girl, Emily...and I was pleased that 'annoying' Kimberley got through...but can she please tone down her eyeliner?!!!

*runs* here I am!
I agree - totally agree with Louis' choices (by the way, I'm falling for all their sob stories, I love the guy who's a single dad and his parents died. *sob*), Sharon's I thought were good too, Dani's I agreed with....up until the pompous idiot was put through. Agree with you Pam, I wanted to cry when he sang Somebody To Love, and not because it was an emotional performance. And his whole "you've picked the winner Dani". To quote a certain line in a certain show, "excuse me while I puuuukke" *bleugh* Simon's choices were strange, the gruesome bittoocloseforabrotherandsister twosome were a strange inclusion, the Hope girls are slightly annoying (though I did like their Umbrella version, and I'm glad the convict has been packed off home), but I like the boy group. I liked the NOrfolk lads who were geeks but strangely weird!
Can't believe there's a week without it this weekend - what am I going to do?!!!

See . . . . I know I'm strange but I quite like Rhyd *waits for rotten tomatoes*. Didn't like the murderous Queen rendition though! But he has something . . . . .

I tell myself every year that i won't get addicted to X Factor...so far been unsuccsseful Me too! Still, I always look forward to this annual thread. I'm trying very hard to think why I find Rhyd 'interesting' and everyone else doesn't! Btw did anyone else hear the whispers that Michael Jackson may be doing one of the guest slots this year? Can't wait for that one!

I heard the Michael Jackson story as well, sorry Debbie can't stand Ryhe either I think it was the conceit that did it for me. And agree with everyone else on some of the choices that have gone through. Danni for letting Domonic (I think that was his name) go and keeping "Conceit o man" in. Simon for the brother and sister act and letting the other girl group go???. I think Louis got it right and I was okay with sharon's choice as i think she had the hardest choice.
