It won't let me post in the other thread...so, at risk of being poked by a big pointy stick...I'm going to start a new one!
I had a dream about it too last night!...I was in the water park swimming round keeping half an eye out for Tony (who wasn't there) but also looking for signs indicating the speedos rule (Which also wasn't there) I think this comes from my growing suspicion that this speedos rule is a figment of Tony's imagination. Seriously, I looked on the website and there doesn't seem to be a mention of any kind of dress code!...I'm beginning to think that for some odd reason he just wanted to put the speedos thing out there for amusements sake! ;D
Its totally wierd that I dreamt about it...my dreams never have any connection with real life, or indeed anything remotely rational!...And when they do, it's not that obvious an influence!

actually i've beeen to this certain ´waterpark!!! Well i didn't have a dream about(0h ok i had but it's soo weird that i can't talk about it)!!! it!!well this is true that many estonian men wear speedos instead of trunks but it's not a dresscode yeah!!! you certainly ask why they wear speedos?? the anserw is reallly simple-we used to be the part of sovietic union ,and no trunk were worn there or even sold so everyone's used to the speefos. it's more like traditional thing. although nowadays more and more estonian men (especially young guys about 17-35) wear trunks!! so i think also that he was trying to do the thing more interesting for us!!! but who knows!! estonians are weirdos !!!!! i admitt it!!

Oh! - I'm so glad it's not just me having strange dreams. But co-incidently I do know that there is some kind of rule in France which makes the wearing of speedo type trunks a necessity in all\some of their pools. So it could indeed be true

I thought it was a great blog and laughed my head off when I read it...in fact 15 minutes later I was brushing my teeth and almost spat my mouthwash all over the mirror, the urge to giggle was still so strong. In a way I hope it's not true - I'd love to think that was just his sense of humour.

And I still randomly keep breaking into giggles whenever it crosses my mind.

Not being a swimmer myself (and clearly being not too bright!) it hadn't even occurred to me why it might be a good idea to wear speedos on a water slide...but now that you say that Sam it all makes very good sense. Trouble is...it was bad enough picturing Tony in speedos...but now I have an image of him on the slide in his trunks with the obvious consequences!! Oh dear, oh dear, oh dearie dear!!

Oooo! How naughty ;D I had heard that it was for 'the wearers' safety not 'ours', i.e. shorts could get caught on edges etc! But I like sammies explanation
