So anyone been watching this at all? It's made for very uncomfortable viewing at times, and has seriously kicked off in the press today. I think a few people are going to be in for a hell of a shock when they finally leave that house. I dread to think what the reception will be like.

i love that program, its nice to see and not to see the big brother is just like any other circumstance, i feel so badly about shulpa getting bullied and left out like that, when they all come out of the house the only one i like is Cleo, funnily enough i saw her in real life on kings road going in to whsmith a few years back no one knew who she was i do. i just like her style and she seems pretty secure in her thinking, but its putting pressure on her as shes the middle women the same as with that Ian guy, its really sad to watch, i can see both sides but its really petty I can see why shulpa i think it is is being how she is the others just are not trying to understand why shes like that and now shes fighting back which the others are going mad about as they think she is taking the mick, well wouldn't you if you were being treated that way and you knew what was going on, a group all huddled together talking about one person, different personality, culture, and class, clashes, looks, jeaousley maybe, and its sad if you don't like eating at 1pm then why not do your own dinner! the grocery thing really got me too, if i was from a different culture maybe i would only want that kind of food, but its then hard on the others who don't want to eat it. id just go ok my £5.00 here, £1.50 for oil or chicken if your all eating the same a big bag or using the same coffee etc you all put that £1.50 in, and the other money will go into what i want.

I'm a Big Brother fan, although I've found this series hideously boring. Big Brother is usually a laugh, but I think they've made big mistakes with the selections this year.
I only heard about the "problems" between some of the members this morning. At first I thought it was just Shilpa making a fuss over nothing, but I have since learnt that Jade, Danielle and Jo have said some pretty harsh things...some following the lines of "She's touched other people's food with her hands", which is just way over the mark. However, despite hating racism...I think this has been blown out of proportion by the media...

I have to seriously question where all the press interest has come from. By all accounts the viewing figures have been appalling, and as the saying goes, there is no such thing as "bad press" It is probably the best thing to happen to the show because everyone will be tuning in to see what all the fuss is about now. I can see that Shilpa is being terrorised by Jade, Danielle and Jo, but I haven't actually seen any racism whilst I've watched it. I kind of expect it from Jade and Danielle, because they are not exactly gifted in the brain department, but I thought Jo was better than that. I agree with Sammie, I think Cleo is a sweetheart and is clearly finding it hard to be stuck in the middle of all this aggro.

I kind of expect it from Jade and Danielle, because they are not exactly gifted in the brain department Danielle has a degree in Chemistry, so she's not stupid Perhaps she has a degree in ignorance too, as she was exhibiting a wealth of that last night! At least she had the decency to look shocked when Big Brother repeated back to her what she'd said...whether or not that was genuine remorse or just panic at the realisation that she might have damaged her reputation (assuming she had one to start with)...who can say? Jade's little performance left me gob-smacked and almost ashamed of my roots, being born and bred about a mile away from her! Whilst I don't believe it stemmed from racism, I was outraged at her behaviour and hope she's next out of the house! If she's one of the top 10 influential people in this country, then God help us!!

Yeah, I was also born very close. Albeit in Hertfordshire, but on the edge of Essex, and I hate how some people from that area are portrayed. My school was either on the edge of, or in Essex and some people ask me why I'm not like "every other Essex girl"...not a nice reputation...

big brother was the making of jade and will now be the downfall of jade. i think the three of them are very very silly... that danielle i think is the worst, as one minute she is laughing with jade and jo, the next she is being nice.. that is the worst type. personally i dont think it is racial by the girls, i think it is just pure envy and jealousy.
the only good thing to come out of this... yes there is a good thing.. and that is that it has really brought the subject of bullying to the forefront.

Well no surprise who was nominated the most. Jade and Shilpa, 5 votes each. I've no doubt that Jade will leave on Friday, but I would imagine they'll do it very quietly and without the crowds. I agree with you Em, about the bullying. It's a subject that people tend to associate only with school age children, but it just goes to show you that age is no barrier.

it can happen at work, anywhere! sometimes we can be the bullied or the victims, but this went to far! it kinda puts it all into perspective, their isn't a lot said about bullying, i remeber when i was at school NOONE did anything, it was me who had to move schools, also at work you never see the bully's leave, so yes a good thing came out of it,
Ive noticed a lot lately well esp in my area mental health is becoming a serious thing its getting bigger, i used to work voluntary as a befriender, the mental health community here as amalgamated together with the gov now, so the voluntary organization is atc getting help, Ive applied for a job their now so i hope i get it,

If Jade goes...Danielle and Jo are going to go for Shilpa again. If Shilpa goes...well, I just don't know... i think totally the opposite, that they would both calm down still be snidey, but might make more of an effort to befriend shilpa, as jade fuels their thoughts somewhat in a negitive way, be nice to see what happenes eithr way,b ut ive got a feeling jade will go.
