So - having just returned from the land of crocs (the shoes) I thought it would be interesting to know what people think of them! I have a divided opinion as the girls begged me to buy them some on holiday and I gave in - they actually look nice on them, but not sure about the adult one's - although I am constantly being told how comfortable they are!!

i imagined them to make your feet sweat loads but apparently not, and they are supposed to be amazingly comfortable. i'm really tempted by a pair. they would be perfect footwear for my job. my pedometer (and my feet) told me that i'd walked 5 miles around the A+E during one shift recently! ing x

I've heard that loads of nurses and doctors wear them ing. Apparently - according to the label - you can put them in the dishwasher (not sure about this ), bleach them and they are made of some antibacterial material so I suspect they would be fab for you. Literally hundreds of people were walking around the theme parks with them on and the girls said they were the most comfortable shoes they ever had. I must admit I'm trying to imagine you in bright pink ones (with Tigger jibbitz) rushing around A&E! ;D

They certainly sound like they'd be great for your job Ing because they are comfortable but as for adults wearing them generally, it has to be in certain situations like holiday mode, I think. We see them a lot here in Sydney but mostly on weekends, at beaches and in holiday areas. I saw huge numbers in Asia when I was there at Christmas. However, they are so big and bulky looking on your feet. Not very elegant I'm afraid which limits their use for me.

I've seen those, someone at my work had them and swears by them. Sadly, even though they would be a good work shoe, I work as a careworker for the elderly, health and safety kicked in and they have been banded due to the openess of them and it might hurt if your foot gets run over by a wheelchair or stamped on by someone (even though it would still hurt if you were wearing caterpillar boots!)
Bet they would be good for the beach though!

I have a bright pink pair and they are the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever had!!. They have little nodules on the inside which are supposed to massage your feet. bah humbug mine burn the skin off my feet, I am saving them for round the pool when I go on holiday... a week on Monday ( . Tad bit expensive for a pair of flip flops though. Pat

My therapist is obsessed with them. She announced to me on her last visit that she'd just ordered several pairs. Ing : Black is far from boring I love it

I sound slightly like I'm quoting bits of Wicked then, but that wasn't intentional! I haven't jumped on the crocs bandwaggon at the moment, I have heard that they are uncomfy if you're hot and your feet sweat. I stick by sandals I think, for the moment. Although I am intrigued by the stickers you can get for them.

I can't see the attraction...I think they're really ugly...although I can see why nurses wear them. Easy to clean... And meh, I said they're ugly...there's one type that I don't mind and that's "Sassari"...it's a wedge...I like wedges...although I like them higher than that.

Many people don't find them stylish, but I like them. I know they are really popular in the hospitals around here, a lot of nurses and doctors wear them (my mom and sister have some.... my sisters are tie die green and blue). They look comfortable, but I have never owned any.
