Keep applying lanosil ointment - it works a treat. You will only need to for a few days and then it will settle down. If it scabs over, don't worry and don't pick it lol! thanks for the tips Cesc! and cheers to you both! Np chicky

thanks Kathy! touching it or bumping it is a big no, no!! ... brings on a mild reminder of the crazy pain of having it done this morning...but otherwise...no, no pain as such, just hot, swollen and aches on movement. I'm not grumbling though...my mother has already told me that i'll get no sympathy for branding the perfect skin that I was born with .... but, as a wise global mod once said, ...'perfect is boring' have a GREAT day! ing x It looks fab babe....and well worth a bit of pain. I'll gladly clink a glass with you (any excuse)...let's just hope you don't require amputation, as feared! Just don't let the bloody cat lick it again and you'll be fine! P xox thanks you! and YEAH!!! ...the bloody cat is lucky not to have been turned into soup after doing that!... of all the places to go lick! ... all 'washable offable' though and i'm now just grateful it wasn't a scram or a bite to my 'wound' ... ing x

Oooo! I disappear for a week and ingy gets decorated! I have no idea of the pain you went through my friend as I've always been too chicken to have one done. But it looks good and as everyone has said the initials are very subtle (I mean I didn't even see them in our fab logo on here at first) *hangs head in shame*. I'm glad you went ahead as I know you've been thinking about this for a long time - you'd only have gone on wondering and deliberating. It's a symbol of a time and place in your life that is very special to you, the same as carrying a photo or wearing a piece of jewellery only more painful! I'm really happy for you that you 'went for it'!
*whispers* So what are you having next? The mercer symbol on the other arm would look good!
