no, no Shaz I didn't design the triquetra. We just added Tony's initials. It is a very common symbol which has a history stretching way back. Aswell as Led Zep, it's also used on the television programme 'Charmed' aswell as being the logo of my local authority leisure facility and the 'bio hazard' symbol for blood samples in my place of work! Lol, it's a rune symbol it is actually a pagan symbol which dates back further than christianity.

it is actually a pagan symbol which dates back further than christianity. Lol, I wouldn't know....I only know it's a rune because of Led Zeppelin, so just refer to it as that. I don't really know the background of it...and again, with Led Zeppelin I only know that the "Zoso" symbol holds the meaning of the devil and 666 because of the band lol. So my comment was kinda backed by rock and not fact Cheers for clearing it up

well, after agonising over it for months ...I finally did it today!! ...now branded for life and kinda proud that I didn't cry, didn't swear, didn't need knocking out with a hammer, didn't break my sister's fingers, didn't need any vino anaesthetic, or the block of wood that I planned on chewing....BUT my gosh...it's crazy, CRAZY pain! .... but no pain no gain right? ... here it is just an hour old .... thank you all for your advice during the run up to 'tat' day.... ing x

thanks you all! I have never had a panic attack, EVER, but boy, 'pre-tat', I could have done with a McDonald's brown paper bag ... the lettering on this thing being my biggest concern, (that it would look 'wrong') followed by the anticipation of huge pain ... i'm just so SO glad it's over now .... anyone joining in a 'post-tat' glass of wine? ing x

Congrats Ingy, it looks really terrific. I'm glad the subtleties you wanted came through. It's only breakfast time here so I don't think I'll join you in a glass of celebratory wine just now. However, I'll certainly raise a toast next time I have a glass in hand.
Is the pain over now or are there "healing" pains to be gone through>

Is the pain over now or are there "healing" pains to be gone through> Kathy thanks Kathy! touching it or bumping it is a big no, no!! ... brings on a mild reminder of the crazy pain of having it done this morning...but otherwise...no, no pain as such, just hot, swollen and aches on movement. I'm not grumbling though...my mother has already told me that i'll get no sympathy for branding the perfect skin that I was born with .... but, as a wise global mod once said, ...'perfect is boring' have a GREAT day! ing x

I'll gladly clink a glass with you (any excuse)...let's just hope you don't require amputation, as feared! Just don't let the bloody cat lick it again and you'll be fine! P xox
