To clarify .... Karma is a community member rating system .... EXALT: If you have found the comments, advice, recommendations of a particular user helpful or informative, show your appreciation by hitting the "EXALT" link in their user profile. This will give the poster a "Karma point". SMITE: If you do not find a user's comments or advice helpful or informative, you may hit the "SMITE" link in their user profile. This will take a Karma point away. This is a friendly forum and we expect there to be less of and more of . Please do not abuse the Karma system. It is just a fun feature, and has no bearing on your status as a member here. ing x

Liking the karma thing, it makes it a bit more fun! I haven't got exalt and smite on mine though. Do you do it or is there something I'm supposed to "activate"

I haven't got it either sally, I think you are only meant to exalt or smite others if you feel that way inclined. Otherwise I expect some people may want to give themselves huge karma scores - some people are so competitive you know!! ;D

You see the option against the profiles of others though, yes? and i see it against your profile so all should be ok ing x

Sally, just for the avoidance of doubt, are you looking in the right place? It should be showing directly underneath "Karma"??
Are any other forum members having this problem?

I would just like to do it for other people, and it's just not there!!!! I'm having a similar issue: I gave Karma to one person, but when I went back right away to give Karma to another person, the exalt/smite buttons had gone missing, miss_ing!

Proboards prevent overuse of the karma system by disabling the option for a period of time after exalting/smiting ONE member. I will have to look into exactly how long this time period is for you. Great to see y'all using it! hope this answers your questions, if not, let me know! ing x

Karma can be given at a rate of one point per hour.
