Bit late to this one, but quite a lot is happening for me in the New Year. I handed my notice in at work and finished on the 30th December. (scary, but necessary. I needed a new challenge) That same week I opened my Ebay account (with a view to eventually being able to work from home) In the meantime, whilst waiting for that to build up, I start work at a lovely little restaurant on the 11th January for 2 days a week. My eldest daughter will be starting at "big school" in september, and has taken entrance exams for all the really good grammar schools in the area, as well as a scholarship placement for King Edwards High School for Girls. Obviously, we don't find out till march which school she has secured a place at, but I wanted to be prepared, as far as my time is concerned, to be in a position where I could really support her, so we could make the most of all the opportunities avaliable to her at these schools. That means my time is a very precious commodity, hence all the changes!! I suppose you could say that my New Years resolution was to change my lifestyle in order to be the best Mum I could possibly be to my kids.

I remember going to the back door of the doctors surgery and some people looking at me with such pity! I looked like 'Toad Woman' - had chicken pox absolutely everywhere and felt SO ill. I had to be sedated LOL! Luckily I've had the mumps, measles and other 'orrible ailments. Hope your cold has gone now btw.

At least you're giving it a go! A really good sturdy sports bra is a must though. (almost as important as the trainers!!)
