Adam and I had a smashing time viewing the maternity suite yesterday. I am contemplating the birthing pool, but if they fill it to the top I fear I may well drown!!! Found out that Adam can stay with me for the full 24 hours I will be in (fingers crossed all goes well with birth etc) which put my mind at rest. And the rooms are really rather nice!

I've never been in the situation myself, but I would imagine first time births must be pretty nerve-wracking, so it must be very comforting to know that Adam can stay with you Cesca...although he'll probably be sorry he did - no doubt you'll be calling him all the names under the sun and demanding he never comes near you again, at some point! Mind you, if you opt for the birthing pool that should make for an easier delivery...but remember to pack a snorkel little one, just in case! Can't wait for the big announcement! We'll all be thinking of you lovely lady! Pam xox

Hey lovely lady! Glad Adam can be there for you to support you and calm you down A birthing pool is a very good choice. The warm water is relaxing, they say it speeds up the contractions..and is less painful. Molly will definately feel at ease during her first swimming lesson!

It's great that they show you where everything is your first time, it's so hard to remember everything when you are in a panic! Do they still give out the free parking passes for daddy's in-waiting? Everything will be fine cesca - you are so lucky to be able to have Adam there full-time, wasn't like that here 6 years ago thankfully things have obviously changed for the better. Are you taking in any music btw?

Glad everything's ok and you enjoyed looking round and having your baby shower. (Like the cake by the way). I'm sure if you tell them you're only little they might be able to sort out a paddling pool or something for you, if you're opting for a water birth!!
And I'm sure we'll all speak to you before Molly makes her appearance but good luck!!
