Was watching Al Murray's Happy Hour last night on ITV1, and he was joined at the end of the show by Brian, Roger, and the London WWRY cast to sing We Will Rock You. I saw the musical when Tony was there and thought it was incredible, although seeing the cast last night I was disappointed I've wanted to see the show again, but judging by the actor playing the lead role, I don't think I wanna go again. I'm not being biased towards Tony, and I don't know who the current Galileo is...but he seemed really poor to me Also they seem to have changed the costumes a little since I saw the show...it all looks really punky now. Did anyone else see Happy Hour last night?

Yes I saw Happy Hour and I must say I much prefer the promo they did on Parky and Children in Need The guy currently playing Gaz (Peter Johannsen) is actually very good....but the blonde curly hair never has and never will work for me...he should get a "Tony" wig and maybe that would help! He's a lovely chap though

Did anyone else see Happy Hour last night? you can't really judge until you've seen him live! Tony will always be my number one galileo, but for me personally i think Peter Johnasson is great and comes a very close second! i've seen the show more times with him in it than MiG, purely because i enjoy his performances so much, (more so that MiG's but less than tony's obviosly!)

Yes I saw Happy Hour and I must say I much prefer the promo they did on Parky and Children in Need I agree completely with pam! I did however think the end bit with them all in bed was very funny! I've only seen Peter J once - he was good, but Tony is my favourite followed by MiG. If I were you I would go and see it again shaz, you may really like the current cast plus it's just so great to hear Queen's music played live

Peter for me comes a very close second to Tony, he is nearly his best replacement... I absouletly hated Mig (even though I saw him like 7 times!) his voice just annoyed me!!
I watched it last night and hardly recognised anyone apart from Mazz, Jenna and Peter... and I only saw it last june and will see it again in june (kinda become a bday tradition now!)

The cast at the moment is the strongest vocally and actingly (thats not a word nikita!) wise its been since the beginning, Jenna leads the talent in the show for me, she is vocal dynamite and has gotten a lot more comfortable and funnier in the show now shes not filling hannahs shoes anymore! Best scaramouche, her and Tony as gazza and scara = AMAZING!!!

Never thought of MiG being GaGa but now I think about it is true.. I couldnt stand the Who Wants to live forever... that was like the best bit of the show and he ruined it!
When I took my mate to see the show MiG was on and she described him as having a cartoon voice as his Gazza voice was a tad ridiculous (in our opinion anyway)...
the only reason I saw it so much with MiG was cause Hannah was stil Scara and she rocks... I think I've only see Jenna as Scara once... loved her as meat though

Again, I'm slow to discover this thread, but I totally agree - there was one line (touch my world with your fingertips) which he went really high at, and for me I used to dread that song when I saw it (mind you, don't think it helped that Tony used to sing that song so well in the firsty place!) I grew to like Mig in the end, but prefer Peter to him - obviously he's not as good as Tony, but he does do a good job. You even get used to the blonde hair after a while (kinda)

That was, and will always remain, an incredibly special line for me. Tony's voice was so wonderful in it and I still love to listen to him sing that song for that magical moment alone.

I always use to love I want to break free... that song never had emotion in it for me when I hear Freddie sing it but I suppose when its put in the context of a musical then it gives it a bit more life, still one of the best bits of the musical.

Tony sent chills down my spine every single time he sang that line...*sighs at the memory* *sighs too* BTW has anyone heard the snippet of WWTLF on Brian's website? It's from MiG's new CD . . . . . and as much as I quite liked MiG *whispers - I liked the ga-ga-ness* I personally don't like this 'snippet' at all! *sorry MiG* Here's the link: www.brianmay.com/whatsnew.htmlClick on 14 April. Oops! Almost forgot . . . apparently MiG is back in the UK in the Michael Jackson Thriller Live shows.
