So as i was thinking we all live in diffrent parts of the world! and maybe you have a favorite spot that might have some history behind it, or some other part or gem of the world and why?, tonys blog got me thinking when he mentioned the tartu wine cellar, i was intrested to read about it. im really intrested in pictures of diffrent places and esp historic buildings always have been abbeys, chapel, victorian houses, pre war time,i always want to know the history behind things. i took some pictures on tuesday of one of my favorite places in leicestershire, i go their often with rue my dog, i dont know it feels i have stept back in time each time i go their, and the fact i know alot of history about this place it makes it more exciting for me... dont snore!!!! so those little molds of hills somewere their might be a hidden village, atc thats true of bradgate park, the pics are of lady jane greys old house the ruians, she was queen for 9 days and beheaded, they say the trees were all lopped off on the day she was beheaded, they are a lot of stumps! theirs loads more about the place but its too long! they also say lady jane grey still haunts the abbey ruians! (ps if the pics look pixelated sory i dont know why ) the chapel still stands fully on the right hand side

Full of old people (and me) who live in a timewarp - do the same thing, same time, same day each and every week for the rest of their lives...I'm all for country as long as there's somewhere nearby to go!

My home town is near Cambridge, the town is really boring, the only good thing is a direct train line into London, oh and a cave where the Knights of the round table had their meetings (apparently!) I also live in Bath, which is an arty farty place if you ask me, the only good thing apart from the buildings, is that it has two Fopp shops and was the home of Tears For Fears, and is what the song Mad World is written about (Im not obsessed with them or anything!! )

I live in a boring town is aswell but there's a place I like to walk to because It's always calm. It's not old, it's a "new" piece of town. (I call it new even though it was build 97...) I hope it stays calm because they are building new houses there..=/ These pictures are taken during the winter so the pond is frozen

I'm originally from just above London, but we moved down here 5 years ago. Right in the south of Dorset...about 8 miles inland. Pretty pictures; zoffii

I'd like to visit UK and USA sometime, especially those towns and places!! Well i've visited Belgium and Holland but only a day so i couldn't say actually anything! Well first of all . i don't wanna me you ,Sammie, sad or anything but the Wine Cellar that Tony blogged about is in Tallinn not in Tartu! And Tallinn is 186 km north from Tartu! Well i'm from and live in Tartu-The little collegecity, which Tony talked about so sweet!! He said: arrived in Estonia this past Thursday for a day of rehearsal before the first 2 performances in the quaint college-town of Tartu. This 125,000 person city combines its historic architecture with cutting-edge technology. The people are warm and most speak English as their second language-- fortunately for me, because I'm a bit rusty on my Estonian. The shows in Tartu went extremely well and it feels great to be performing again! I'll give an update as to the rest of the Estonian shows in the next newsletter. I love Tartu,it's so beautiful!! It has it's own spirit!! The city is really old (from 1030) but it has young soul here!! The majority of habitants in tartu are young people (16-30) coz Estonian only real University- is in Tartu(since 1632) and the 2 best highschools of Estonia are also in Tartu:1.Miina Härma Gümnasium-i could almost be in it if i were just a little better in maths!- 2.Hugo Treffner Gümnasium-i also tried to get in it!- ,so a lot of people come from other towns and etc. It's the oldest city of Estonia, btw! Quite many famous people visit also Tartu like HRH Prince Charles of Wales and Dalai-Lama. I just love, love wandering around Old town of Tartu- -the fountain"KISSING STUDENTS" and Tartu Toomemägi- and Tähtvere-the section of the town where i live, considered to be the section of rich people, professors of university and intelligents and famous people!! btw that is absolutely true!! my dad is quite famous in estonia and so are my neighbours also! estonian ex-president lives 200 m away from my home! I hate Talinn!! It's good only for shopping and nothing else!! Actually it's known that people from Tartu and Tallinn hate eachother! I've also lived in Southern France for a month!!! In Barbentane, near Avignon!! I love the place! after Tartu and Barbentane i also love Saaremaa(the island in Estonia) and Otepää and Võsu 1.Saaremaa 2.Võsu 3.Otepää
