I have spent a great deal of time during the downtime between performances, and have made the executive decision to put out the EP—A Better Way—under my own label. In about a month’s time, ABW will be available for purchase from tonyvincent.com, CDBaby.com, as well as for digital download from Apple iTunes, Rhapsody, Yahoo Music, and more. *dusts off iPod*

you appear to be a wee bit excited there Debs? ;D Hi Emmmm! Well - I do remember A LONG TIME AGO, 3 September 2006 to be precise (I checked on MySpace), all of us commenting on Tony's blog that we were standing in the queue waiting for the EP. I remember ing even took a flask of coffee! 'Tis no wonder I'm excited - I can go home soon ;D and we haven't even been entertained like the Bisley queue! See . . . those people waiting for the last Harry Potter novel have got nothing on us! *rushes around the queue dusting off the cobwebs*

There's a few things I'd never done before becoming a fan of TV. Patience finally has it's rewards:-)
So how are you going to buy it? CD? iTunes ? What are the pros and cons?
iTunes is quicker but you don't really get the cover art or the actual CD in your hands. I wonder which one he gets more of the cut from? I wouldn't have thought it was iTunes or one of the other download services but I could be wrong.
Since he's apparently bearing the financial cost himself, I want to buy it in the way that would give him, rather than the distributer, the biggest return.

Cd's cost more, therefore i'd imagine he gets a bigger return from them rather then downloads, I could be wrong though. I may not have been a fan as long as some of you guys but i'm looking forward to hearing the new stuff and playing it to my friends so they can share the joy aswell.

When in doubt, buy it directly from the artist's website, especially a self-promoted album...9 times out of 10, that will give the artist the greatest cut of the $$$.

i'll put the kettle on again then, shall i? And if we're to be sitting in a queue waiting again someone should bring the deckchairs as well so we can be comfortable. Maybe we can see some of that cake Deb keeps promising us:-) Kathy
