Welcome Barb. Another fellow Clevelander? East or West side. I'm in the western suburbs myself! And, I did see Tony on Broadway in JCS! He was excellent!

Anybody know the date this gig finishes up? It was for summer so does that mean it finishes on 31st August? It says 3rd September on his website Kathy, but like everything else, I guess that is subject to change

Unofficial, but from a reliable source:
Tony is staying until the end of the year, with the exception of Sept 2-13th, which he is taking off.

reliable or not, to avoid disappointment, i think we should WAIT, and leave such announcements to tony, ya know?

Absolutely. We'll leave the official announcement to Tony as he's the only person who really knows what HE is doing but it's nice to have some goss to mull over;-) Maybe it will happen and maybe it won't but "that's showbiz" as they say. Nothing is certain until the offcial announcement is made but where's the fun in life if we can't spend a little of it speculating the future.
I'm currently having fun speculating my dreadful Prime Minister and his Government will finally lose office after ten years, in this upcoming election and that it will be capped off by him losing his seat. It would seem to be fair justice for the misery he has caused. In the meantime, the reality is that my city is about to close down for ten days whilst the APEC leaders descend. Bad luck to the rest of us who need to go to work and live our normal lives. Our racing and horse industry has been hit by equine flu and is closed down for at least three months. The little people who earn their living from it have lost their jobs and are in a state of emergency.
Speculating about nice things happening are our way of coping with reality sometimes.
Kathy:-)

Sorry. Didn't mean to offend the powers that be. If you call the Carolina Opry box office, I believe they are telling people what I posted above.
