So, I hear Tony's been performing "We are the Champions" since Wednesday, and will be gradually working other songs into the show....I hope he has a full set worked in by July.

Thanks for that info. Yes, bigger set, please. Would be great if he could sneak one or two of his own songs in as well. Oh well, hopefully we'll get more info soon, the website doesn't give much information about performers at all. Or maybe I just can't get the salient information out of the website? Pictures, I want pictures.
I'm off up north for three days tomorrow to the beach. Apparently it isn't as warm as I was expecting it to be, or as dry:-( Of course it's the wrong beach as well. Nevermind, just doing nothing for a few days will be great.

Tony sang We Are Champions for his second song...I had not heard of him previously....did not expect anyone of his calibre at the show and was blown away when he sang...He was dressed totally in black and sang a beautiful song...they don't have programs, so I did not know the name of the song....I did not get a chance to speak with him after the show...but the performers do come out and sit around the steps to the stage and the audience can speak with them and get autographs....I am sure he would have been amazed if I did approach him....as I stated, I am a Grandma, but his style just got to me....As soon as I came back home to my home state, I searched on the internet and found out about him....I saw Jesus Christ Superstar this past December in Cleveland...didn't know if he appeared there or not...

Thanks for the info, Barb. Tony does have a wonderful performance style and whenever he performs somewhere new he gets a whole host of new fans. Welcome aboard and feel free to look around. His fans are a very friendly bunch:-) If you want to find out more about him then go to the website this forum belongs to, or maybe you've already been there and that's how you found this board? It has all sorts of information about what he has done in his career. Here's the URL just in case www.tonyvincentworld.com/As for approaching him, I've found he's usually very friendly and happy to chat to people. He didn't appear in JCS this last December so you didn't miss that but if you look on YouTube you'll find heaps of vids of various performances he has done over the years. You can get links to those from TonyVincentWorld as well. Thanks for joining us and posting:-) Kathy

I believe the other song he sings in the show is "Wicked Games". Crumbs! Is that the Chris Isaaks one? I'd like to see\hear that if it is! AND . . . Hello Barb and welcome to the forum. Thank you for posting about the Opry gig, it's really nice to get some feedback as Kathy said. If you go back, you must go and say 'Hi' to Tony he is a really nice guy, and if you do (being selfish here) can you please take a camera LOL!
