I'm definetly watching! I've seen a pre-eurovision show the last 4 weeks where they show a preview of all the contestants and after a scandinavian "judge" say what they think of the entries.. I didn't think the UK entry was soo bad..but at the same time I wonder what they thought of when they made it..

I saw Scooch performing the song on day-time tv yesterday and I couldn't believe how suggestive it was...and it's not just my dirty mind! When the guy looked in to the camera at the end, held up a giant sweet and said "would you like something to suck on for the landing sir?"...it wasn't a Werther's Original he was thinking of!

I have to confess that I only watch it to listen to Terry Wogan! I heard him in interview once saying that he took a bottle of scotch in to pass the time away and that by the end of the show he is always drunk! By the end of the show I am always on the floor curled up with laughter! Does anyone else do the 'guess who's going to vote for who game'? As for our entry this year - ummm - I think it is very representative of the way the Brits view the contest and was obviously voted for as a bit of a joke - apart from pam's fave bit, I like 'Would you like some nuts?'

Btw, Debbie, call me weird but i kinda like you song! But i guess it's not appropriate for eurovision but i think i'm gonna download it to my mp3 player. Oh yes yes you can call me weirdo! www.youtube.com/watch?v=2zGVPYc8cX8Well this is our song. Btw the singer of that song, Gerli performed with Tony at Memory 2007 and Andrew Lloyd Webber(she was in chorus there)!! She is so awesome!! Her voice is tooo awesome! Tony and Gerli should have sung the "Who wants to live forever" at Memory 2007 and audience would have cried! Oh and Gerli's younger brother Tanel won Eurovision in 2001 in Denmark with Dave Benton(he's a older singer from Aruba) and a band called 2XL(now it's Soul militia) It's their song "Everybody"- www.youtube.com/watch?v=QOQhUSeup2k

LOL! I'd never call you weird or a weirdo ruthie you seem lovely. ;D Thank you for posting the link to the Estonian song, Gerli is a good singer and I liked the song. I have not seen any of the other contestants except the 'strange' one's that our news likes to show us, i.e. the Swiss vampires and the Ukrainian man dressed as a woman with a huge star on his head!
I too actually quite like the UK song itself, but find the performers dancing etc a bit too much. Sounds like it should be on a CD for little school girls along with Barbie Girl and that fast food song. I wish we all knew once and for all if this is a serious contest or a 'who can look the silliest' contest!

I think it was too bad that your entry didn't go to the finals ruthie, I thought it was one of the best there.. ..and about the Ukraine entry..I don't know what to say..I hate it! But they say it has become a favourite and I don't understand how...=/ The head of department (or something) of ESC here in Sweden has said that if Ukraine wins with that entry he's going to resign because then they've made ESC into a joke..or something like that..
