this should be a poll.
I like pc's better, just for internet, games or whatenot. I think of mac as a more artsy computer, it's good for making music, editing pictures and movies, and I hear the virus risk is less. I prefer PC's though, I like the layout better, and they come with everything I need.

I had to 'google' the macbook ing - looks quite interesting! I would like to know what you think ing! In my experience you are either a 'mac' person or a 'PC' person and that's it! I agree with Kelsy that more 'artsy' people seem to prefer macs and historically these were certainly much easier to use than dos-based PC's. Since the emergence of Microsoft Windows (obviously based on the graphical user interface from Apple) the space between both has become blurred. Having used and trained people on both IMO I think you gravitate to what you are used to - personally though the gold 'ole PC for me. Please keep in mind that I am a dinosaur and remember the old DOS commands and often go back to them in desperation!!! For many years my father-in-law and I have argued the merits of both - but neither of us ever convinces the other! ;D

when I was in college I used macs and pc's (depending on what was free!), I have to say I prefer the pc. I think the mac can be a little difficult sometimes....or perhaps thats just me?!

I don't know if I thought mac was difficult when I used it that short while I studied media..But I thought it looked better then pc atleast.. I agree that mac is more for those who work with some kind of media, pc is more of a home computer.

I'm an unashamed Mac person. I adore them, they are fun, easy to use, reliable, intuitive and absolutely asthetically beautiful. I always have one at home. At work I have to use a PC and I find it boring and difficult to get around. So glad to get home to my mac.
Kathy BTW, isn't Tony a "mac person" as well? 'Nuff said;-)
