Molly has her first set of jabs tomorrow and I am cacking myself!!! Adam has said he won't come into the room with me or he may faint (typical bloke!), so it's just me and the little 'un!!!

She'll be fine Don't worry about it...I doubt she'll even know whats happening. You'll be more bothered than her haha. Good luck though

Oh cesca - that is one of the most horrible things I ever had to do - let alone make the decision about. But both of mine were fine though, I know it doesn't help one bit to say don't worry - so I won't!! I gave mine Calpol before the visit, they used to suggest after it, but it might have changed. It seemed to calm them down and it didn't seem to result in as much screaming as it did to some of the other babies. The trouble is that there are so many of these jabs and you have to go through this time and time again - 'tis no fun. Big to you and Molly.

I'm guessing immunizations? If it is her first set, then she should only get 2 shots.
Your baby will be given his first vaccinations at 2 months old. This will consist of 2 injections as well as polio drops in his mouth.
The current UK immunisation schedule is as follows:
* 2 months - Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis (DTP) and Haemophilus Influenza B (Hib) in one injection.
Meningococcus Group C - one injection * Polio - drops on tongue 3 months - the same as above providing a second dose of DTP, Hib, Men C and Polio. * 4 months - the same as above providing a third dose of DTP, Hib, Men C and polio * 12-18 months - Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR) * 4-5 years - pre-school booster of DTP, MMR and polio

aw thanks guys! She was a little star and only cried a teeny bit after each injection. There was a little boy who was 12 weeks old screaming in the waiting room after his jabs, and Molly was fast asleep, opening an eye every now and then as if to say 'for heaven's sake shut up!!!'

See even at a very young age us women are much braver and more prepared than the male of the species!
I'm so glad Molly took it all in her stride and that you obviously survived cesca!
