I just finished at week at my old school doing teaching work experience in the Food technology department... however, I was chucked into the deep end this morn and asked to assist a music cover lesson ... I am no way musically inclined and ditch the subject in yr 9... however, the total blessing was that the music lesson was on....
How to write a musical!!
All they had to do was answered questions including composers of musicals, types of musicals, naming musicals and plots..
I think I scared the student and the teacher I was helping when I had no problem standing infront of a class of 16 years old reeling off a list of musicals and giving them the plot details for all!!
Think I did quite well considering I suck at music, I'm not a teacher and they were year 11's!!
;D ;D ;D

Ha, I admire you! Year 11's are evil on so many levels. I certainly was anyway! I remember when I was taking GCSE graphics, we had this teacher who had only just started teaching, and he was really young...so it was asking for us to play up really. Anyway we spent the whole year setting fire to bins, locking each other in cupboards, throwing rulers through the ceiling, sticking his keys to the wall, tying his bags to tables and doing all number of other terrible things. Looking back on it, we were damn harsh But hey...he deserved it...actually he didn't but it was funny all the same ;D

We did the same at our school (no setting fires or anything) but ours was more sheep orientated (those were the days!) We used to terrorise this one math's teacher, they even put up posters round the town saying he was wanted for sheep sh*****g. lol eventually he left (though I think he may have been fired), moved to another school and changed his name!! The things kids do eh?!
