Just wondered what everyones pet hates were. Currently i hate going upstairs on busses to be confronted by selfish people sitting there with their phones playing music so everyone can hear it. Whatever happened to headphones?

Rude people in shops that interrupt the cashier whilst you are paying. They refuse to wait in line and then walk straight up to the desk asking you 'if you mind if they just ask . . . . ' Unfortunately they get short shrift from me as I just answer 'yes I do actually, we've all been waiting in line'. Amazes me how many of them then glare at you as if you've stolen their purse/wallet!!

Whatever happened to headphones? I hate that too - also hate headphones that either dont fit properly or fall out .. or is it just me that has this problem?!

But i'm pretty sure i'll find much more stuff from school to hate: there's only one good thing for me about school. THIS IS GONNA BE MY FINAL YEAR AT SCHOOL( 12th grade )-and i have only 2 exams of 5 left to do(english and essay, that shows how mature i am, in estonian )

I know what you mean about rude customers. I used to work in a shop and they did that all the time (old men in particular). I used to have to say, "If you could wait a moment while I finish serving this customer" and then ignore them. Loads of times they'd take a huff and walk out of the shop muttering about how rude and unhelpful I was.
Chavs annoy me and people who think they have right of way in the street and walk into you rather then move around you.

The absence of the words "please" or "thank you" at the appropriate times can send me in to a rage at the drop of a hat! I can't abide arrogance or rudeness in any form!

I guess I've reached the age where I'm not prepared for people to do that to others any more and I feel confident enough to say something. Sometimes it works but often they just suddenly pretend they're deaf. Do you find saying something works or not? Kathy

I'm really glad you stuck to your guns, in my experience most shop assistants don't! As for people walking into you, I hate that too - I hate watching that video for Bittersweet Symphony by The Verve (love the song) as I get so annoyed at Richard Ashcroft crashing into everyone LOL! i realise that it's the point to the whole video but nooooooooooooo!!!

It seems to work mostly, although I do remember one time where the Assistant started to help the interruptor and I saw red! I told the Assistant that if they carried on I would need to see the Manager to find out why we were all queueing like lemons. It worked, the help stopped and the interruptor skulked off! You then find that everyone else in the queue says 'well done' - where were they when you needed them? *feels a Grumpy Old Woman moment coming on*

Whatever happened to headphones? They should be shot!!! I don't get why they do it?! I also despise scrags, and chavs! And why oh why do people stand right in front of doors on a lift?! Errrr hello, here's a thought, there may actually be someone IN the lift with a pushchair and who, strange as it may seem, needs to get out without falling over your scrag of a child!!!!!!!!!!!! HATE people who queue push too, and cashiers who chew bubble gum, and talk between themselves (again ALWAYS the chavs!)
