I haven't been back to the cinema since I saw all those Johnny Depp's on the screen together in Pirates 3. I nearly needed oxygen LOL!

Just saw the new Harry Potter today. It's brilliant (though I still don't know why Daniel Radcliffe got the part), and I can't wait for the book now.
Pirates 3 was so good I saw it twice (I never do that at the pictures).

Can't wait to see Harry Potter, I'm on holiday (in UK) when the book comes out and hoping to get a copy for holiday reading. I expect the best place to buy will be somewhere like Tesco's!

If you want it cheap i'd recommend a supermarket such as Tesco or Asda yeah. I have mine on pre-order and will be getting the earliest bus I can to get it.
To make this about film I will add, I recently saw Fantastic Four: Silver surfer which was brilliant. I also saw Bridge to Terebithia which may be a kids film but I really enjoyed it. I also saw Shrek 3 which my wierd sense of humour found hilarious. Finally, i'm hoping to see Hairspray this week.

hmm i finally got around to seeing The Devil Wears Prada the other day and was sorely disappointed.. it may be because i found the book funnier by far.. a case of great book, shame about the film.
by the way i agree that duplicate johnnys was a pleasure to view that got me back to the cinema twice(still need to have a third trip as a gentle reminder)

I wouldn't advise getting it from a supermarket...there's been a big problem with Asda lately due to Harry Potter. The new book is going to be on sale for £17.99, and Asda didn't think this was a fair price, considering that it's a childrens book and all...so they've refused to sell it because of the price. The publishers have gone absolutely mad...

Asda have never sold it at full price. No where will be selling it at full price (unless you haven't pre-ordered and are still stupid enough to go to Waterstones or something). Honestly, it's never sold at full price in any shop because £18 is extrememly over-priced for a kids book.

Thanks shaz, saved me wasting valuable holiday time No problemo...just thought I'd warn you, as I don't know if any other supermarkets are going to follow Asda's example. I actually completely agree with them...£17.99 is far too much for a children's book, even though adults read it! Asda said that the publishers were "holding children ransom" or something...

Asda are selling it at £5. There isn't really much the publishers can do to stop them either.

Most shops, I've now discovered, are doing it as a deal. Woolworths for example, will sell you it for about £6 if you buy £10 instore.
